Since its founding, the Kurita Group has been collecting and accumulating issues and information from various industries, utilizing the “water knowledge about water “formed through this process, and creating and providing diverse solutions that can solve industrial issues. With the belief that to “ create and provide values that can be done only by Kurita” as our driving force, we have been facing customers sincerely and supporting the growth of society and industry through solving issues of customers regarding water and the environment.
Creating innovation for solving global-scale social issues
In recent years, the environment surrounding industry and society has been changing rapidly. Various social issues are emerging globally, such as the acceleration of climate change and the depletion of water and natural resources. Under the circumstances, to fulfill our mission of “passing on a harmonious environment to future generations,” we believe that it is essential not only to provide social value by solving industrial issues but also to create innovation starting from solving social issues, through utilizing the “water knowledge ” fostered since its establishment.
Co-creating new value through the fusion of diverse knowledge
The innovation that the Kurita Group aims for is to create models for new value-generating, to apply them in society, and to form new rules. To create this innovation, we will interact, cooperate, and collaborate with people from inside and outside of the Group who have diverse experiences, knowledge, and perspectives, thereby co-creating new values.
Accelerating innovation through the opening of "Kurita Innovation Hub (KIH)"
In 2022, the Kurita Innovation Hub (KIH) was established as a base for creating innovation in the Kurita Group. To realize the KIH concept of a “technological and social innovation hub where diverse people from inside and outside the Group gather and connect,” we aim to accelerate the creation of innovation by connecting and fusing diverse knowledge through interaction, collaboration, and cooperation with various people.
