Q.What do you think is the type of Digital Transformation that only Kurita can achieve?
By combining water quality data and Internet of Things (IoT) data with customer equipment information, we can optimize the entire factory. By sharing data that each department has between departments, we can share the issues that each department has had up until now, identify bottlenecks, reduce unit consumption, and reduce the impact on the environment, thereby improving the sustainability of business and society. Furthermore, by utilizing Kurita's knowledge and Internet of Things (IoT) data, I believe we can realize simulations such as predictive diagnosis that only Kurita can do.
Q. What future do you envision that can be realized through Kurita's Digital Transformation?
As a company that handles water around the world, in order to make effective use of limited water resources, we will create a database and verbalize the experience and knowledge that veteran employees have cultivated so far, so that both veteran and young employees can create new value. By connecting data from around the world through Digital Transformation and using AI and Internet of Things (IoT) systems to monitor water quality, manage resources, and predict risks in real time, we will contribute to more efficient and sustainable use of water resources.

Q. What are your goals and challenges for the future?
I would like to proactively propose new business models and services that utilize Internet of Things (IoT) data and digital technologies. I would like to understand customer needs, clearly differentiate ourselves from other companies, and create new proposals that only Kurita can offer.
Q. What does Digital Transformation mean to you in one word?

Finally, let me introduce you to the daily life of the Digital Strategy Headquarters staff.
I am a staff member at Kurita Water Gouache Akishima.
Since joining the company, I have been an active player for 10 years.
Although it can be difficult to balance my work with my job, I find it very rewarding and fulfilling. I value my relationships with the company, the local community, and team members, and am building a team that can share courage and excitement.
