Mission in Digital Transformation
- Establishing a system for compiling and managing master data that will serve as the basis for utilizing the various data obtained through water treatment
Q.What do you think is the type of Digital Transformation that only Kurita can achieve?
By combining the water treatment Technology and know-how that Kurita has cultivated over many years with digital technologies, we can work together with customers to solve issues that affect the entire factory and create new value.
By combining and analyzing Kurita's water treatment data and knowledge with customers' operational information, we are already creating value that goes beyond the scope of water treatment through the use of data, such as by predicting operational problems.
Q. What future do you envision that can be realized through Kurita's Digital Transformation?
Kurita's Digital Transformation, which is centered on water, can contribute to the global Environment by solving issues such as water conservation and GHG emission reduction for customers in various industries around the world.
We believe that promoting Digital Transformation transformation at Kurita will help create a world where people can live safely, securely, and with smiles on their faces.
Q. What are your goals and challenges for the future?
In promoting Digital Transformation transformation, it is important to reduce the amount of work required for data preprocessing. The current work on developing master data is part of that effort, but I would also like to deepen my knowledge of data management and instill in the Kurita Group a system and culture for accumulating data as an asset.
Q. What does Digital Transformation mean to you in one word?
Finally, let me introduce you to the daily life of the Digital Strategy Headquarters staff.
Enjoying calligraphy is a great way to relax.
I enjoy calligraphy as a hobby. In my everyday work, I spend a lot of time facing a computer, so I find it very refreshing to get away from the computer, move my hands, and concentrate on calligraphy.
I have met many different people through calligraphy and feel that it has added color to my daily life.
