Mission in Digital Transformation
- Looking to the future, we will create a safe and secure next-generation work and communication Environment that enables new ways of working that transcend the constraints of time and place in order to improve productivity and engagement.
Q.What do you think is the type of Digital Transformation that only Kurita can achieve?
Kurita has in-depth knowledge about water, a wide range of customer contact points and infrastructure, and a culture of providing opportunities to people who want to take on challenges. We believe that Digital Transformation , unique to Kurita, involves bringing together the power of digital technology to Value Creation . For example, we use AI to analyze numbers and images based on information obtained from Internet of Things (IoT) devices installed at many worksites, and control various water treatment processes to solve customer issues and improve the Environment.
Q. What future do you envision that can be realized through Kurita's Digital Transformation?
It may be more accurate to say that I want to make this happen rather than that it can be achieved, but the future I envision is "a world where Digital Transformation has made it possible to work styles that transcend the constraints of time and place, where stakeholders can engage in free and open discussion to solve social issues related to water based on a digital Environment and a culture of challenge and diversity, where each person can maximize their strengths, and where society achieves sustainable growth."

Q. What are your goals and challenges for the future?
I am aware that one or two challenges are not enough to pave the way to the future described above. Catching up with the latest Technology, fusing Technology with business, considering and implementing measures that grasp the essence of the issues and risks that arise one after another, fostering an organizational culture that makes this possible, etc. My goal is to take on all of these challenges and grow.
Q. What does Digital Transformation mean to you in one word?

Finally, let me introduce you to the daily life of the Digital Strategy Headquarters staff.
I like motorcycles
A motorcycle trip is a fascinating adventure in search of unknown scenery along with the scents of the four seasons. The moment the accelerator, brakes, steps, handlebars, and weight transfer are perfectly harmonized, you are filled with an exhilarating feeling and a sense of unity between rider and horse that cannot be expressed in words.
In search of new, unseen scenery at the end of that winding road, you'll find yourself continuing on without even taking a break.
